Outboard Engine Maintenance Course

This course is held to provide basic exposure to participants regarding outboard engine maintenance methods and to improve the skills and competencies of participants in the maintenance and repair of two (2) stroke and four (4) stroke outboard engines. Participants consist of civil servants / target groups with a maximum number of participants of 20 people for each course series.

Module Content / Syllabus

  • Module 1:

    Module Content / Syllabus Introduction to Outboard Engines and Systems

  • Module 2:

    Theory of Fuel & Ignition Systems/ Lubrication & Cooling Systems.

  • Module 3:

    Theory of Lower Unit Systems & Engine Maintenance

  • Module 4:

    Practice disassembling and assembling outboard engines
